Yes the Autosmart product is great, I use it on Range Rover rubber mats. Cleaning without dressing them afterwards just doesn't leave a clean look to the mats, especially if they're well worn :thumb:

Kite end caps also do the trick. I've been using them every time the original cap wears out.
I'd say they're actually harder wearing than the original caps. Loads available on eBay :thumb:

I think it could be picking up leftover fibres from your washing machine drum. I know ours does on occasions from previous bath/hand towel washes.

Have you actually used these products? I tried Project 64 this week on 3 cars. Was impressed with ease of application and gloss achieved, so I can keep track of the supposed 6-8 week longevity...
