Even with a Porter Cable, M105 and a Mf pad will cut hard enough to remove most defects in a couple passes. If you still have marks left after a couple of those sets you might want to look into wet...

M205 doesn't need any extra lubricant, you can work that polish for days (figurative) before it starts to dry out. You might want to adjust your technique, or your environment if you're finding it...

I guess I misread? I was under the impression the compound left it's own marks (haze). If the defects are still present after one or 2 passes, you need to either keep going, or stop before you burn...

M105 is quite aggressive, maybe need to follow up with something a little stronger than UP. In my limited experience with UP so far, it's got far less cut than M205. Maybe try that instead?

Any of the products that have cross linking threads should do really well. Just don't apply them with any old rag.

I personally think BSD's water behavior is better than Fk1000p, but it doesn't have the nicest feel. I'm using AG rapid detailer over a few month old EGP and it really boosts the slickness and gloss...

Not sure if DSW will play nice with SRP underneath it, but EGP will be a solid combo. Could give UHD a try, since it will definitely go over top of SRP.

That's true, but it can improve the looks of paint even without polish. A lot of waxes clean the paint even though they're not specifically cleaner waxes. I've used FK1000P to do this a few times...

I've read a lot of threads recently about it causing oily residue after wipe off, plus other people saying it's a bit of a pain to apply and remove. FW is almost as easy to use as FK1000P, which is...

I haven't used DSW, but do yourself a favor and get Finnis Wax. It's an absolute monster of a wax, with crazy water behavior and much nicer to use to boot. Oh, and crazy durable as well.
