I've already been there, but the quote they gave was crazy expensive. Without saying what it was it was £1300 more expensive than another VW approved...

Polishing Aluminium Advice

Looking to use my DA-6 pro on some aluminium on my motorbike thats looking a little tarnished.
I have the polish but am looking for advice on what would be the best pad.

I thought I was just doing a light spray over each panel but maybe my light spray is a bit heavy. Will the type of mictofiber make any difference? (even though I have tried 3 different types).

I've only ordered one 5 inch and one 4 inch pad as I was hoping I wold be able to clean them 'on the fly' as I went around the car. Is this not a good idea or possible?

I've ordered a CG green Hex Pad and a Scholl Honey Spider pad. I thought Id start with the honey pad and if that doesn't get achieve the required results with the S20 then I'd try the green hex pad....

I'm aware of the DAS6 Pro group buy discount form CYC so the cost is almost identical to the one from in2Detailing.
The one form CYC is an 850 watt motor and the one for in2detialing is the 900 watt...

The only reason I was thinking go CG pads rather than the Scholl pads was because I read a post from Chongo that said scholl pads might be too hard...

Leaning now towards the plus model.

In2detailing are doing the 900watt model compared to CYC 850...
