I have an audi b7 and have been using the megs 105/205 combo. It took me close to 4 hours using my da and although i was happy with the results, it still wasnt as good as id like it is there anything better out there?
Any recommendations on pads and compounds?
cheers

+1 for this.
Audi paint is hard. I spent around 13 hours polishing my audi s3.
Spend a bit more time on it and you will see the improvement.
Meguiars 105 and 205 is a good combo but it will take time to get a good finish.[emoji3]

Sounds like you used a hex logic pad.

Dont worry about to much cut with a microfibre pad.

I used a microfibre cutting pad with merzerna super heavy cut 300 and that worked well on my old audi s3. Very good but still took a while to get rid of swirls and other marks.

Are you looking to do a full correction or just a spruce up?

I would let us know what colour pad you have used and then we can go from there.[emoji3][emoji3][emoji3]

Well I'm more than happy to use the MF pads if you think it's any good. I know it was a medium cut on the pad but really thing I could do with a change as they are starting to fall apart now. What about compounds is there just one I can use rather than the two I'm using at the moment?
I did the whole car but could still see imperfections.
