urban glass sealant - layers?

is there any point to layering up the glass sealant? for instance, making sure the glass is properly clean, apply to sealant, wait 24 hours or so (without driving, so glass is still clean) and applying another coat.

or is this a waste of time?

also, is the shelf life of this stuff 2 years? i got bought another urban glass kit yesterday but alread half half of the old kit left...so best make sure i use it before it goes off!!

Hey Ross I'm really sorry I missed your question!

Yes you can layer it, but more than 2-3 are not recommended. The shelf life is at least 2 years, but it's always very important to shake very well before use.

good to know i can layer it up. when this is starting to wear thin (probably around sept. time i guess...) i'll apply 2-3 coats of the stuff, all ready for winter
