Charity Car Wash (and thanks to Britemax)

As mentioned in this thread, I'd organised a team of 8 volunteers for a fortnightly charity car-wash based at our church building to continue our fund raising project, involving the construction of a health clinic in a vast bush region in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Last Saturday we kicked off at 10am in beautiful sunshine, offering a pre-wash, wheel clean, foam and mitt wash with Britemax CleanMax, low pressure rinse and dry, together with free tea or coffee, for a suggested donation of £4.

Great teamwork allowed us to deliver the service to over 80 cars, raising over £520 in the process... a HUGE thank-you to Matt at Britemax who kindly supplied a gallon of CleanMax free-of-charge to help with the fundraising

Britemax CleanMax foaming (well diluted as it was taking too long to rinse the shampoo off otherwise)

a mitt wash...

and rinse...

and dried

And of course, who could resist the BRITEMAX TWINS......

Thanks again Matt...

Great idea...

Funds raised and a better way for people to spend there money than the gritty sponge wash on the street corner.

If they had gone to one of those they would not have had time to step out the car never mind tea and biscuits.

A truly great idea, they get there car washed and know they are making a donation...

Good on Matt also for the Wash Solution...
