Hexlogic alternative?
Been using rotary a lot lately and no problems at all yet.
But decided to pick the megs g220 DA up again lately for a change with various hex logic pads , some pads were brand new, others have served me well and seem to be going strong still, can't fault the durability However I find they clog too easy, literally have to de-spur after every section I've worked, and when doing this I can see the cell structure deteriorating when being brushed so often, the clogging feels sticky almost too. Using the pads in conjunction with af tripple and dj nfs. Are the AIO's the problem or are these pads prone to clogging easily via da? Tempted by the LC constant pressure pads to try, but their descriptions seems like they are for a beginner and offer hardly any cut at all compared to certain hex pads. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance JB |

I've found the same when using tripple and also glazes, they are also a nightmare to clean, unlike polishes which I find dissolve in the water when cleaning these products stay in the pad as a horrid sticky mess

Ah so if its just the product I'm putting on the pad that's causing the issues that's not too bad, Atleast I know
Maybe a spritz of eraser on the pad between each despur could help properly unclog it, hmmm, but then it could effect the AIO Tricky |

I couldn't say for sure it's the product but I do suffer from similar issues on different pads, have you tryed cleaning the pad in between sets with a microfibre?

Might be best looking at the Black constant pressure pad and the crimson HT if you need a little cut. The benefit of the HT pad is its closed cell so the pad shouldn't in theory soak up so much water based polish/glaze

Try the Lake Country CCS pads, they are as good as the hex ones IMO and perfect for DA use.
