Machine polishing = ultimate shine, depth, clarity and reflections.

Wax / sealant / coating = Protection.

Beading or shine - what's more important to you?

A bit of both if possible? Although there's nothing better than when it's raining seeing the water beading up and running off!

Shine, if you just want beading why go to all the careful work getting rid of swirls etc just lash on a wax and throw water at it.
I feel beading is a little bonus to reassure that all is well giving the car protection.
Maybe simplified but I hope you get my drift?
