I voted in the 'up to £50' as I genuinely don't think I've spent more than that in say, the last 2 or 3 so I've taken it as an up to date figure. This is only because, maybe unlike a lot who are fairly new to all this, over the last 20 or so years I've been through the 'try everything' period and arrived at a set of products that I like and work for me. They may not be the cutting edge of detailing, or even necessarily the best in their sector, but they work and suit my needs and I'm happy with them. Had I been answering this several years ago (or taking the last 20 years and working out an average from that), I'd be voting far higher up the poll.

Having said all that it's not totally a closed shop as far as I'm concerned, and I still have an interest in what's coming out and occasionally my curiousity is piqued enough that I'm tempted to get the old wallet out .

I've probably spent about £1000 since March but then I started with nothing. Didn't even have a wash mitt.

Now that I've found products I like and have everything I need to clean a car properly I'll probably be buying less regularly and only when something needs topping up or replacing.

I only started detailing when I got my new car in April and I was starting from scratch so I have spent over £500 so far. I still need some more stuff but once I am fully stocked up I will cut back on the monthly spend! or not!

Pretty new to this game but I've spent over 500 pound so far getting started with products, now I can't stop buying waxes, so it going to increase rapidly
