Door Scratch

Hi all, looking for some advice!

I bought a 2016 Audi S3 just a month ago... I was washing it yesterday when I noticed someone thought they would open their car door straight onto mine!

It has left a small but quite clear scratch against the Blue paint.

Can anyone recommend a way to get this out? I own a machine polisher with Meguiars M105 and M205, but I am also a bit of a novice so don't know exactly whether this would get it out or not!

Thanks for any help!

If you can feel it with your fingernail it will be too deep to polish out.....if you cannot feel it with your fingernail it will polish out....

If you can catch it with your nail it's deep and as has been said it won't polish out, however you can round the edges of so that you will only see it if you are at the correct height and distance from it.

Clean and decontaminate as usual get your compound and a polishing pad put polish on the scratch prime the pad run up the scratch spread the polish on the scratch only. Go to speed 4.5 or 5 no higher use the edge of the pad and work the polish in. You are trying to round of the top edges of the V if you understand. It may take a few times to remove it.
