Upgrade DA
My DAS 6 is a little tired and I want to replace/upgrade .
Seen the V2 and Pro Plus Das versions quite a difference in cost. I'd like something that can slow right down to where we want the rpm's especially for burnishing. Anyone got these new 880W motors , what they like to use (both machines) ?? The new 15mm throw etc? Advantages/disadvantages if any? Any other machines to consider in the same kind of budget area?. I don't mind going a bit higher for a good machine Many thanks Mike Edit- I have my Mankita for the tougher stuff. Last edited by M.J; 28-12-2017 at 05:41 PM. |

I wanted an upgrade from my DAS6 and have been doing a bit of reading. I’ve got a Vertool Forced Drive machine arriving tomorrow.
I’m keeping the DAS6 to use with spot pads. I came to the conclusion that the forced drive would be better to me than a longer throw machine. You can get in2detailing own brand forced drive machine which has a 900w motor for around £160. I went for the Vertool Sonax kit from CYC which has a 1200w motor for £199. The Forensic Detailing channel on YouTube has a review of the in2detailng forced drive and long throw machines. Good information there. |

Whats the slower range rpm for a DA . 2500rpm seems a little high for a slow setting ?
Or is that about right? Happy new Year . |

I aslo got some spot pads for my DAS6. If you want a forced drive machine check out In2detailing £159.95 (also discount code to use on top) Only found out about M&K after I had purchased my Vertool, but they have their own forced drive machine for £165. Don't know if they have a discount code. M&K are also doing a kit for £297 which gives you options. Mini & 900 DA Mini & Forced Drive Forced Drive & 900 DA You get pads and polishes as well, with the kit version. Don't know what the machines are like but the kit looks good value for money. |
