WaxAddict Vortex

Yesterday I gave the car a nice maintenance wash.
I thought it would be a good time to give my new wax a test. The car was not polished at all but the paint is in good condition.
WaxAddict say this wax is 5/5 in every department. The application was effortless a little goes a very long way. It is nice and oily and covers a lot even with a quarter of a twist on the applicator.
It said 12 minutes cure time, I left it to cure for 17 minutes due to it only being 12 degrees. What a mistake that was, it was horrible to remove. Today I applied a second coat and left it to cure for 5 to 10 minutes, much easier to remove but still not effortless. I would suggest only letting it cure for 2-3 minutes. The beading is excellent and panel is ridiculously silky. I have attached some pictures!

Picture 5 is before I drove the car 2 miles.
Picture 6 is at the destination. As you can see the water has gone and it didn't look like it had been wet!

Found the same applying kudos..lovely to apply but leave it too long and it can be a pain. Couple of mins and its ideal..even done wowo which still comes off a dream and no smears.

Finish in the pics look great

WaxAddict need to change it on the label. 12 minutes is way too long!

Quartz beads very well and holds on to it longer when other waxes have typically started to drop off. I've not used kudos

So far so good..water really does not want to sit on the car! Couple of mins of driving and its virtually dry again. Ticking all the boxes..looks great, coating like gloss sharp reflections and stays cleaner alot longer.

This is the beading from Quartz.

I’ve never found an issue with Vortex (applied it last November (2016) in 6degrees, left to cure for an hour after finger swiping numerous times and it was effortless to remove).

I do have to state I am a huge Addict of Waxaddict’s products having every product they’ve done and not found any issues apart from letting Candygloss to long to cure.

I’m still to try Kudos but Quartz is still going strong since application in October and 6k miles.

I have indeed, leaves a very nice OEM finish, no residue or greasy and little goes a long way plus it smells amazing!
