Matt wheels

I have wheels that are painted matt black. They're my winter alloys so they tend to go on for about three months of the year at most.

I'm keen to avoid them looking "polished" but at the same time I would like to clean them. I've found even towel drying them can lead to a slight sheen.

Any advice would be welcome.

Are they matte or satin. Do you have any form of protection on them, generally what ever lsp is on and applied that's the finish you get

IIRC they're powdercoated matt black (VW "detroit" Monzas that were available in Europe but not UK).

The last LSP was poorboy's wheel sealant, which I applied about two years ago! Am going for FK1000P this time around.
