Kerr,
I'm in Wick/Thurso, Skye, Fort William and Elgin this week so I'll keep a lookout for your camper van
Steve.

We will be one of the thousands of them.

We will pick out van up soon. The forecast for Skye has now changed to a washout the next couple of days. We are trying it work our way around the bad weather.

Unfortunately, the weather is the one variable that can't be altered.
Although the so called tourist season is getting longer, roads are definitely a bit quieter now.

One sign has the cyclists on one side and walkers on the other, then 10 yards later the other way around.

Hardly seen a decent car at all. An old 70s 911 yesterday and a Caterham has just pulled in at Durness.

I'm holding nobody up.

The campsite at Bettyhill last night was hysterically bad. The camper van ownership idea went downhill a bit.

Last night's toilets. We both skipped a shower this morning as they were as bad. When you're on the NC500 route you have to lift your game. There was about 3 static caravans in use and just one other sole walker in a one man tent in the campsite.

Amazing how many walkers and cyclists we've seen. It must be really tough.

Just out of the cave. I am amazed 4G works most places. It does seem EE is the only network that works though. On saying that I'm contract and get far better reception that she does on prepay. Might be the phone.
