Guys gonna apply this today. Polish the paint first? Or apply to bare paint? I was gonna prep it first with dodo juice supernatural natural micro prime?. Cheers

Gave the boot a quick coat today. Used G3 clay mitt first to ensure clean then applied two thin coats.

Has left a lovely gloss and feel super smooth.

So I went in to see Imran two weeks ago for some BH autofoam and he asked me if I had used his new ceramic wax...I hadn't. So I bought some and got around to using it this week on the bonnet of my van. Spread easily and buffed off with no effort on a hot panel with direct sunlight on it. Beads are tight aswell and sheets water excellent, very impressed with it so far can't wait to do the rest of the van with it

I finally tried this out on Saturday and I must say I’m impressed! On application it spreads for miles and removes like a dream! Cracking beading too!

Apologies for the minor thread resurrection. It's been a while since I've properly cleaned a car and want to check process. Have just ordered some of this wax and a new clay bar and I have a huge tub of different cleaning bottles in the shed, mostly autoglym stuff.

From what I recall for the painted bits its

rinse
foam
pressure wash
buckets
clay
rinse
dry
polish (srp)
wax

Does that sound right?

Thanks, Kris

Before the clay bar, I would recommend a tar and fallout removal step.
Also, the wax tends to last longer on bare paintwork, so I would avoid using a product that contains fillers.
