i love all cars, always have, but this has given me a lovely warm feeling after reading the thread, its making me feel like i'm 18 again and sharing in the joy of a friend owning a hot hatch that im slightly envious of.

keep up the pictures and posts this is one of the best for me, thank you for sharing

So glad this is being brought back to life, I love them, these and the Punto GT were cars I always wanted when I was 17.

Anyone who has owned one of these will know what fun they are.... I owned a series 1 back in the day ...when I was young and foolish nearly wrote it off on a country road when I was traveling far too fast and under steered around a hairpin ... New subframe wishbone and drive shaft it was never the same so I got shut .. Driver error no fault of the car.

So glad you intend keeping yours standard.
