Aqua Wax

Just a couple of questions about Aqua Wax

1. How often should it be used? Read some older posts that using it more than once a month can 'cloud' the finish.
2. What kind of durability could you expect on a daily driver with little or no previous protection?

Thanks

Hi Tony,

1. As often as you like. We have never encountered clouding. I guess the best advice is to do it when it needs it. If the gloss needs refreshing or the beading is fading, give it another coat. Sometimes all it needs is a wash though as the Aqua Wax is still going strong underneath.

2. 4 weeks or so?

I use after every wash for it's properties to make the drying process a lot quicker. Never noticed any ill effects. I have a white car FWIW.

After all these years is the problem. It’s not fashionable anymore.
Great product at a great price available from many places, therefore in the eyes of many, not good enough for them.

Thanks

I tend to use it after each wash and pleased with the results, adds a nice finish (and smells lovely too). No issues noted doing this.

With regards to motor with little / no protection on - you’ll be surprised what it’ll do, I used it on a neighbours motor as she was looking to sell it and it needed a clean, her car had nothing on it all and the aqua wax added a properly nice finish to it - looked better than it had done for ages.

I still use it from time to time. Depends how much time the wife has allocated to me for car cleaning haha
