Jap

Yesterday I decided to spend some money on my first Japanese car.
A 2013 Toyota GT 86.
2 owners, 16 and some thousand miles.
It's pretty good.
The steering is great, the gear change is great. The clutch is a tad springy though.
The seats are fantastic, really snug and comfy.

Unfortunately the stock speakers are crap. Something I'm sure I will change in the future.

It's obviously not as punchy as my 200 bhp rcz was, due to the no turbo thing.
Although if you wind it out she goes well enough.
I'm considering a couple of small, easy to do mods.
Apparently they react well to a performance panel filter and an exhaust. So probably those soon.

Anyway it needs more noise!

Looks nice and the interior doesn't look like it's 5 year old from those photos

Always liked these from a distance - might try to persuade wife into one next time

I really like Japanese cars as I've had them for years and from my experience are bullet proof. Paint is not often the best. German cars feel so heavy and overly engineered by comparison but do not offer the same reliability.

Great choice of motor

Head over to http://www.gt86.org.uk for loads of info about mods etc.

A company called Tuning Developments in Warrington do a NA performance package which consists of a new exhaust manifold and a tune. Gets great reviews on the forums and eliminates the torque dip! I'm saving up myself to have this fitted soon
