Fusso?

Do Fusso do wax for all colours not just light or dark that last 12 months?
Has any one actually had 12 months from their claim?

Have used fusso dark on the wife's car and easily had 6 months plus and that is just snow foam and straight shampoo cleaning. No qd or tops ups. I think the whole light dark thing is a bit of marketing.

I know what your saying with the marketing side of it but I'd still rather buy a generic coloured one. I think wax for dark colours have a bit more fillers in them could be wrong tho.

I have fusso dark, I've used it on lots of cars from my mums white Alfa to my other halfs dark blue metallic BMW.

I chose dark because dark colours tend to be harder to wax and will show residue and smears more than lighter colours, so figured the dark version might come off a bit easier.

Fusso have said the difference between the two is a tiny percentage change in some of ingredients. I'd just choose the one that's the closest to more of the colours you're likely to use it on.

12 months? Not yet as I usually apply another coat before it gets that long. My mums car has had its fusso coat for 8 months now, is often left for months covered in grime, has had a couple of hand car wash type washes yet when I washed it last weekend the muck and then rinse water just slid off the car, better than a lot of other products I've used do after a couple of weeks.

I would have thought that 12 months would be perfectly possible if applied on good condition bare paint.

I put a coat of light on way back 12 September 2015, it lasted well for 9 months without a massive loss in beading or shine. I've been topping it up with BSD since as not had time to strip and re-apply and there is still plenty of gloss remaining.

Not fusso related but to the use of coloured dyes in snow foams (a vid on youtube ) and QDs (own experience of red dye separation and on MF). You get dye residue so whilst this will not drastically change the colour of a car there is residue (however small) left on the paint.

If I was getting Fusso or any other coloured wax then I would get one closer to my car, just for the tiniest 0000.1% difference.
