Really nice looking ST Ryan. What paint did you use on the engine plastics, i quite like the look of that.

Is it a special heat resistant plastic paint? BTW some of the magazine shoot photos are really nice.

Thanks. The paint is just normal. You dont need high temp paint. On even on plastic engine covers. Its down to prep. You need a good key to take hold.

Few bits done. General tidy up of the trims. Decided to change the clips to ones with rubber washers. Machined polished the are to delete old rub marks.

Do the rubber washers prevent movement - whats the benefit?

I think they are to prevent squeaks and rattles, as the clips tend to loosen slightly over time

Mmm to be honest im not sure lol. Sidedkirts use them . I think to help with rubbing. And i wasnt sure if the holes went into the car.
