Got a few projects on the go. But i thought id add another lol. tackled one of the lights this evening. Sand/machine polish and paint. Need to do the other to when I get a minute
I am now a Ford Focus mk3 owner, only a zetec spec, your attention to finish only inspires me to try harder to improve my car further, having owned mainly French motors, I find Ford's things like switches, wiper stalkers etc to be better screed together, so keep up the excellent work.
I had a 206 gti 180 from 5 month old before this. Loved it. Proper pocket rocket. It was better than new when I sold it. Owned for 9 years and if I had space to keep it I should have kept it as I got peanuts for it.
The mk3 are great little cars. Mate has a 1.0 economic one remapped. A good all-rounder.
Got a few jobs finished this weekend. The bonnet is the biggy. I've gone of the carbon fiber and maintenance of it so it's gone. What a job to remove all the tiger seal. Then the bonnet lip. Same again a pain. I've always had a mark on the bonnet from where previous owner buffed to far. So I thought what the hell. I got the rattle cans out. It's turned out mint. Only problem I have is I should have took the stonechips out aswell lol. This test fitted the dash saver and got it fitting well. New steering lock on.
Been having problems with photobucket. So using my other account for now.
Few extras to the car recently.
Had a mod on the dials so the logos light up. The oem lights up with the esp button.
Fitted a 1.8 boost pod.
Stripped down the clifford alarm. Added a flush bezel, a red stripe and added a brighter led.
Also managed to pick up a genuine rs b9nnet and vents. So speed to save to have all the front end painted. Try and get the ford's classic two town bumper to wing to match
One of the latest features to the bay. I had this made in unfinished then sent it away with my coolant tank and crossover to be ceramic painted. Cerakote. The finish is brilliant and loads better than powdercoating.
Had some new belts made. Went for a more subtle look.
