Hi. Got a project thread on another forum so I'll just copy and paste it on here.
There is loads of updates which I'll add alittle later

It's a individual spec and was when new around 105k

When I got the car the driver side rear 1/4 blind was broken and would retract back. I removed it to find the plastic on the bottom had broken off. Had to re roll it, then put some tension onto the roller then reglue it. Works spot on now
Also upgraded the nav to the mk4 Dvd version with latest firmware and 2015 disc
Been busy doing the odd tidy up job on the car aswell as replacing the mk2 nav drive with the mk4 dvd nav drive Got the latest update and 2015 maps with speed camera alerts. have noticed the widescreen 16.9 is from a x5 as the viewing angle is wrong will look at finding a replacement from a E38 and sell this one on
Been collecting all the parts for a service, it's going to a Bmw specialist for have the gearbox oil and filter changed. Don't fancy changing the plugs either so will get him to do that along with oil coolant, diff oil, fuel filter and brake fluid.
I have replaced 4 pollen and micro air filters for the air con and also the engine air filters along with two rubber hoses which were ****ed
Noticed when viewing a couple of trims needed replacing so swapped these out. I have two more to change on the rear 1/4 which someone on a 7 series forum has given me for free.
Also the car had eBay fake alpina boot and bonnet badges so I had brand new ones on the m3 which I took off before it went to the crusher
Added a couple of pens to the removable writing pad which fits into the back of the front seat
The near side doors never closed tight so had a little look and the latch wasn't on the marks. 1min later and both doors close nice and tight
And last I swapped the inner shrouds on the headlights from silver, which was a option to have to a normal set of black. Also didn't like the clear lights and one of the rears was half full of water so swapped them out for facelift ambers
Beautiful motor and good luck with it. The best looking 7er in my opinion and the Alpinas really finish it off. If you lived on this side of the pond the annual road tax would be €1850!
When I got the car knew the seats needed a clean wasn't till I started to clean them I knew how bad they were. Tried a few products and nothing was working. Was told about Adam leather cleaner and brush and thought I'll give it a go. Have to say this has made the job so much easier. Rather than take hours it's only taken me 30 mins to clean all the back seats
I thought I'll have to reduce the whole drivers seat and now after cleaning I can get away with only
Dying a couple of areas
Couple pictures I found of the car at the Bmw festival at gaydon. Was a fun day out, catching up with people and the level of cars was the highest I have seen there for a while
I like your 750. Much more sporty than the Audi A8 or Mercedes S600. A couple of years ago, I looked at a few 850s, but chickened out in the end. A friend had an earlier 750 that developed quite a lot of tinworm. So he swapped for a 740, which lunched its engine (4.0). It was a lovely car to ride in and had the same colour scheme as yours if I remember correctly. I hope you have better luck.
Thanks for the comments. Alpina or MP are the only wheels for this car
Thanks the v12 is sublime. Silky smooth with loads of power. Not as fast as my old m3 but then I drive this car differently. Just nice and comfortable to cruise around in. It's the only car I can sit in the back and not feel
Sick.
The rear 1/4 trim always breaks up and looks rough and a common problem on the e38. For new trims it's about £150, someone on a 7 series forum has found this product to replace it with and bought a massive roll of it. What ever left gets passed onto the next person who needs it. So I was kindly given enough to do both sides
Next on the list was the missing cover for the connector to jump start the car
Next job was to replace the driver side mirror. On mine they are auto dimming like the rear view mirrors. A new mirror from Bmw is £250. **** that so been on the look out for a good second hand mirror. Someone on FB was breaking his 750i so snapped up the whole mirror for £40
Hard to see in the pictures but the broken mirror was darker and like it was out of focus
Couple more jobs ticked off the list. Started off with the driver seat which had some wear to the normal areas. It's the first time I ever really done a big area with scuff master kit but first I started giving it a good clean then followed with a acohol clean. Then onto some leather filler to fill in the cracks. I put abit to much on so had to sand quite a lot of it off the leather. then another clean followed by 7 coats of dye and I also
Redid the blue piping
Then changed the rubber intake boots. Lucky I did as one had a split in it
Was up in London last weekend and it was so nice driving around in comfort
My dad went round the car gave it a wash and lubed up all the locks and seal All the rubber seals.
It was a very tight squeeze getting into his driveway. Had 10mm each side of the car at the tightest point so we have to widen his gates to make it much easier
Also made sure All the Alpina caps come off and the locks work. Found the original stickers on the inside
UPDATE

Service and gearbox oil change
Took the car down to Fiveways Bmw specialist and had them change the gearbox oil and filter along with a new sumo gasket for the box. Didn't fancy changing the spark plugs so had them change them and at the same time coolant, engine oil and filter and fuel filter. I supplied all the parts other than the gearbox oil
Car is even smoother now and the gearbox changed beautiful
Got a new shifter as the one I have is just wood and I fancied the one with the sides in leather. Bmw only do it in black and as I have no other black leather in the car other than the wheel I decided to redye it marine blue to match the top half of the dash. Also did the gaitor to match
Had a issue with the car running on half the engine, swapped for a new set of coil packs which have sorted it.
Hav ordered a set of H&R springs just to get ride of the massive arch gap on the front. Hoping the ride won't suffer too much as at the moment it really is like riding on a cloud. Will get these fitted and some new front bushes as I got a knock from the front end
Thanks to Jas. I now have a E38 screen in the car instead of the x5 one I had before.
Always thought the boot looked cheap with the basic grey carpet you get in any other BMW. The flagship needed something better. So after speaking with someone who got a b12 he put me in contact with a company which does tailor made mats
Spoke to owner who sent me out a sample which is a perfect match to the marine blue carpet in the car. I also needed new mats and as their are NLA from Bmw I ordered a set of mats and boot mat and 6m of carpet so I can trim all the side pieces to match It should look pretty special once finished
Beautiful. Amazing to see how far ahead the 7 series is in terms of spec and tech.
