mine came this morning

I had a tiny bit of bother fitting the d handle as the plastic cover at the frount wasn't perfectly alligned with the drilled holes underneath and was quite hard to push into place. In the end i decided i'd rather have the side handle anyway - but was nice to have a choice.

Anyway, the machine looks very nice, and seems to be very well built and the bag is nice quality. I'm itching to try it, but the missus has the car today, and my motorbike is in for a service. :-( I was thinking of polishing the garage door - lol.

First thing saturday i will be using it with some SRP and then a clearkote glaze, then a layer or two of HDW. I migh even post some pics.

Thanks very much for a cracking service Tim.

Thanks for the feedback!

The D-HAndles are tight, the manufacturer is aware of this, but we've found that once you've put it on, put the bolts in, but not fully tight and it makes adjusting the handle a dream as it keeps it on tightly, but you can move it backwards and forwards.

We were happy with the bag also

Please do post some pictures if you get chance.

Cheers Tim

Das-6 review

Thank you for the very quick delivery.

Just had a delivery of my das, i also found the D handle very hard to put on, i ran the bolts though the thread first as there was some burring on the threads and then with a little persuasion i fitted the D handle on;It seems the top cover is a little off, just don't tight both bolts until you fit them both.

The machine itself isn't to heavy to use, if you push to hard when using then you do get vibration up though the handle, but this is to be expected.

The on off switch is good to use and the variable switch at rear although a little bit difficult to adjust when using, (you have to pull the machine back to be able to see the adjust setting ) has a positive click feel.

The bag was a nice touch in the deal and is also very nice, big for polish/pads etc (i like the blue colour )

The Das feels good to use and should inspire confidence in the user as the low setting/RPM's are easy to us on plastics etc
