Hi, how are you diluting it? the instructions say 5:100 for heavy soiling? so would that be 50ml per litre?

I use both products through a pump sprayer. If the car is fairly clean I use auto foam at 10:1 but if the car is dirty I use Surfex instead at the same ratio. Durability doesn't worry me too much as I tend to wax fairly regularly anyway.

Yes 50ml per litre is the dilution I usually use and it works well!

Most effective pre wash

Just did mine yesterday. Car was filthy. Hasn't been washed for 3 weeks. Been in garage for repair works and was covered in mechanics greasy hand marks etc. I used 120ml in 3 litres, so 40 ml per litre. Used about 2 litres of the product and managed to get round the car twice with it. Cleaning wise, was great. Could probably have got away using 30 ml per litre. Will experiment next time

Think I've got my ratios all wrong for BH Auto Foam and Surfex. Sounds like I'm using way too much at 10:1 ratio. Oops.

I get brilliant results from Bilt Hamber Autofoam, ODK's Arctic and Gtechniq W4 . All of these work brilliantly in a lance and very nicely in spray bottles too.

Why don't you guys use the recommended 1:100 dillution for the BH autofoam?

I found surfex to leave white marks sometimes that's why I stopped using it even at what I thought were low dillutions
