Talking 1976 Alfa Romeo Montreal - Bespoke Valet - Weston Super Mare

An iconic classic! One we look after every year

1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal following a bespoke valet including leather deep clean and condition, Engine bay clean and several coats of high end wax.

This is all in preparation for a magazine shoot!

I have a fetish for 105 Series Alfas. That is simply gorgeous.

I occasionally try telling my wife we need one as part of our pension plan. But they are starting to get expensive for good ones.

I'm looking at a Junior Zagato instead to restore at the moment but I can't persuade my wife until I've sold one of my other motors.

That looks absolutely gorgeous. I remember these cars in the 1970s when Alfa Romeo was struggling with very very serious rust issues which meant hardly any made it to the first MoT.

Great detail

ok that's pleasantries out of the way...

The design detail is incredible - obviously the headlight louvers but also the little stuff like the cig lighter Alfa badge and the twin binnacle instruments

I didn't realise they used V8s because they are so famed for their V6, I thought it was a 4 pot twin spark at first

5 speed in the '70s was practically unheard of and did Alfa nick that steering wheel off a Riva Aquarama?

Beautiful!

You don't get much more special than a v8 alfa.
Lovely.
