Just look at the price of the Nissan Leaf.

New LEAF N-Connecta £27K with government incentive.
but 'fuel' costs on under 3p per mile - purchase price isn't everything.

and the price of an equivalent performance and spec Focus - £25k, and 12p/mile in petrol.

30k miles later, you'll have spent almost £3k more for fuel in the Focus.

Yes , but what happens when enough move onto electric and the government lose huge amounts of tax from fuel, you know who will pay, same with all the RFL after enough lower emission cars on roads up the tax

if we all charged our cars at home at present we would have power outages for sure.

I used to think that - now I'm seeing him more and more as an egotistical deluded individual who is consistent in only one thing - failing to deliver on promises

A modern day Preston Tucker
His passion is space exploration and it's hard to run someone down who is simply following his dreams and proving a point to all the experts who said it wasn't possible. A few years ago they told him launching and relanding a rocket was impossible... well we all know the outcome of that one. He's pushing the boundaries of technology in several areas and that makes him a pioneer in my eyes.
