Im a big fan of citrus pre wash and have used it many times in engine bay.

Would you say classic APC would be more suited to an engine bay over your citrus pre wash

I also use Citrus as an interior cleaner mixed 1:10 as I beleve its safer on dressings previously applied but would Classic APC alos be a substitute in this case

Both would do the job just fine. Interior of your car you can dilute Citrus PRE Wash up to 1:20. But APC is 1:10. On the engine 1:10 both products will work to a similar standard. APC will emulsify oils and grease very well. As such APC would be my product of choice however if you don't have it and you have Citrus PRE Wash it will do the job just fine.

Finishing off with Classic Protect makes a real difference and will make future cleaning much easier.

Here is a video demo of our Classic Protect.
