Pad etc combo for Honda Accord?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to order a Das 6 Pro from CYC, but what else do I need to get? I already have AG SRP and AG HD Wax - are these ok to use, or should I go for something else?

I have a Honda Accord with loads of lovely swirls and seem to recall Honda having really soft paint?

I've read that some megs 105/205 products are recommended? Plus is it the Chemical Guys Hexlogic Orange and White pads?

Many thanks,

Scotty

I got on well with Menzerna on my old Accord.

On my NHB ATR at I've pretty much fallen out with everything I've tried and always fall back on Megiuars #80. Copes well with soft, sticky, annoying etc Honda paint.

Mine is so soft you often end up with marring when removing the polish. Prima Amigo is like a gift from the gods. It finishes it off bring the paint to another level and the paint pop is awesome.

Then top up with the LSP of your choice.

The Meguiars 105 & 205 will cover almost any paint. If you like the Hexlogic pads then I would also get either the black or red finishing pad. Many seem to prefer the Megs Ultimate Compound to 105 as it does not dust as much. Whatever pads and polishes you use, always start with the least aggressive products first
