Detailing interior glass

The interior of my car has been somewhat neglected compared to the exterior. It’s clean of course and gets a regular hoovering out, but the interior glass hasn’t been properly cleaned in about six months.

As a result it’s steaming up easily and has that film. Time to tackle it.

I was thinking of the following products and approach (as I already have them)

Wipe down with auto finesse crystal and waffle cloth

Polish with auto finesse vision then buff off

Remove polish residue by wiping down with crystal and waffle cloth again

Finally (optional) treat interior windscreen with rainx anti fog.

Does anyone have any suggested alterations to the above or does this sound like the right approach?

after using "rain-x" many years ago on a motorbike, id be in the "find something else" camp
and after many many years on motorbikes , crack a car window for misting up, as the "anti fog" things i have used, on motorbike visors and face mask either just do not work or stop working after a half hour or so,, Clean as possible is the best ive found so far,

G5 on the insides, never thought of that, i wonder if it will help with the vape residue , ta ill try it
