I have a 15 year old Fiesta 1.4TDCi 165000 miles and the engine is just bedded in. I'm not sure the electricity powered cars are capable of doing that, especially if the battery life of mobile phones is anything to go by.

Nice motor, mate. I particularly love those seats: reminds me of the Mk1 interior

So,

I'll start by saying I had every intention of getting all the sealants on today.......every intention....

A slightly early end to dry January at 18:23 last night may have had just the smallest influence on today's activities, just a tiny amount......

Still in bed at 12, I thought I'd better get up. Ventured out about 13:30, fighting the urge to be violently ill. Got a front wheel off, cleaned, fallout removed, rinsed and got a coat of the Carbon Collective Platinum wheels on. Felt so ill I went back in for a lie down.

Felt better by 3pm so went back out, did another wheel and called it a day for the wheels. Washed the car with the plan to get the glass sealant on the windscreen. Expect once washed and dried, I've found a massive chip on the screen. Not even 3 months old and I'm not sure quite how bad it is so before I do anything, I'll get it checked. Don't want to put the sealant on if the screen needs work/repair...also found the wheels are made in Korea of all places....

A few pics and for whoever it was who asked about the black on the wheels, it's proper soft. A wash with a decent wash pad left the marring you can see on one of the pics....

Scratches in the finish.

First time that wheel has been off and washed. I'm sure they would polish out but it seems the black paint is very, very soft.
