Mercedes a45

Hi not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes:
I've got an a45 with the Amg performance pack so have the winglets etc now I'm wondering when I polish my car using a DA polisher should I mask these bits up or polish them? As I can't overly tell if their painted black or in some kind of high gloss finish. Thanks in advance!

You can polish them but they are like your Bi pillars very soft. Only use a finishing polish and a polishing pad 3" backing plate will be needed especially for your roof wing, but for the front little splitters then you can mask them up or polish them by hand. What polish do you have and pads?

Hi mate, 205 and a white pad will be fine. You can use 205 by hand for the front little splitters, the blue pad is mainly used for applying glazes or cleaner pre waxes.
