2010 Ford KA

I've just purchased a Ford KA as my daughters first car. On the log book it says absolute white but it looks very flat with no shine to it.

I have a DA polisher but was wondering is the paint soft or hard. I don't want to start polishing it with a high compound if its soft.

Thanks

Hi Phil

Firstly, any pics of the wee car?

Secondly, as with any car/paint, start with the lowest combination of cut and pad, and work your way up in cut until you find the combination that gives you the results you want.

There's the possibility that the car may have seen paint at some stage, so it's very hard to say that paint is hard or soft with any degree if certainty chum.

Get a few pics posted, and mebby start a thread showing your work.

Cheers

Cooks

Thanks Cooks.

This is the only photo I have taken on the day off collection. I will post some more up as and when I can.

Going to put an order in with "clean your car" this week and hopefully weather permitting start on it this coming weekend.

Not the best photo
