Plastic panels and how far can you go?

Believe it or not I'd machine polished the rear bumper for quite some time with green 3m pad and G3, it looks a load better that what it did but nowhere near 100% not even 80%

How far can you actually go on something like this as the PDG don't work on plastic.

Wet sand would of probably helped a lot I'm presuming

And lastly if you were given this car to do, what would you do in this situation keep going or call it a day?

It was scratched from a dog getting in and out of the car all the time

Your asking for trouble if you carry on till as far as you can go I mean is it your car or someone else's if I was you on looking at the state of the paint work am sure the owner or if it's yours would be happy with what you have done. Also you could mask it with a heavy filler glaze

I think it's time for a bumper protector to be fitted.

It was in a Garage I sometimes go to, he just said it needs a machine polish, and this seemed to be the best result I could get. Was just curious as to what others thought and if you would of gone further.

Wet and dry sanding, but like always if you strike through and don't paint don't bother.
