Colour temperature of Solus bulb(3m Sun Gun) is 4700k, just in between Convoy 3B and 4C tints. Personally, I like cooler tints, so went for 3B.

Hope this helps.
Thanks!
I made it easy and bought 3 different including the one you bought, but with 7135x8 and use lower mode instead, maybe I was thinking wrong?
Two others were XML2 T6-4C and XML2 U2-1A.

I spotted this on ebay and am considering it as a inspection flashlight after polishing. The zoom option looks like it would come in handy. Anyone bought this? Is it worth the buy or do you suggest something different. Keep the budget low please so no Scangrips.

Thanks
I bought a similar Chinese branded torch via Amazon.
Got very exited as they quoted 2000 lumens.
Handy little torch but I'd be surprised if it was 200 lumens let alone 2000.

When they blag the power it spoils the fact that they are good value budget torches.
For example, a 230w halogen bulb for my outside security floodlight kicks out 4800 lumens and the torch in the link is allegedly 5000!.......Off of three AAA batteries!
Even my Lenser P14.2 uses four AA batteries to achieve 340 lumens.

Like I said, these are really good value small torches, but they may as well go the whole hog and label it 1,000,000 lumens

Will be interesting to see difference on swirl detection between those tints.
