Dirty KA Cleanup

I actually did this a short while ago, but only just getting round to typing this up tonight.

My girlfriend has a fairly long back road commute every day, and with the damp weather and gritty roads, her car gets pretty nasty pretty quick. She isn't a car person, but her KA is her pride and joy, so she jumped at the chance to have me sort it.

Here are my 'before' pictures;

I know there's been a lot of aggro on here at the moment regarding Traffic Film Remover (TFR) compared to snowfoam, but TFR is my preferred prewash, and I love the power maxed stuff.

Don't ask me my dilution ratio, I just add water when the product level goes below the nozzle tube (seriously who designed that?!?!)

Here's a very satisfying video;

Here are the 'after' pictures once done with TFR;

A little christmas present to myself! Does smell great

I washed, dried and then used Cherry Glaze (another christmas present) and I have to say that I'm impressed with it. Easy to apply and buff off. Looks great as well! I finished off with Sonax BSD and AutoBrite Endurance tyre gel, and for only a couple of hours work, it looks great!

Cheers for looking!

Flipping great Steve. I've never used a TFR before, bit it certainly looks to have done the business in removing the crud.

Lovely wee car btw.

I haven't followed the discussions regarding TFR vs snowfoam (I'm just looking at the pictures here in the gallery section ), but from what I understand they're basically the same thing - it's just the way you apply them to the car that differs?

Anyway, great results on the Ka! On the before pictures it looks like any car after just one day on a Swedish road this time of year - the authorities love to put salt and gravel on the roads to de-ice

Just tried Power Maxed TFR for the first time over the weekend.

Seriously impressed with it.
