Cheers for the info Gonz.

Thanks Chongo.

Slightly off topic but as you two are probably the most active members with what seems to be great knowledge I have a question.

Everyone is also raving about PowerMaxed TFR... Is this safe to use as a pre wash everytime? I was told this stuff dulls paint, or is it only the cheap stuff at the £5 car washes that is useless?

Thanks Rob

It is fine to use at the correct ratio, obviously most chemicals will degrade your wax over time.
It's a bit of a trade off between trying to get a touchless or near touchless wash and not degrading the wax.

Thanks Rob
i use PM TFR regularly and find no problem, for it to be wax safe PM recommend at least 1:9 dilution but i use it at 1:20 and it works perfectly for the current winter crude the car is collecting, some people dilute even further and find it works so i'd say have a try with a few dilution rates and see what works for you

Sorry Rob but I don't use it mate so I can't comment on it. But if you use the right stuff and follow the introductions then it won't bother your LSP.

That is one slight down fall but it's worth it, looking forward to seeing how it's looks on metallic silver when summer comes and hopefully it will still have the same effect.

To be fair Hereisphilly, when you put a picture up of that kinda car the wax is irrelevant!

I test drove one of these and when I was about to order they stopped production in July last year! Wanted Nardo with the black pack and exhaust!

What prep was done on this? Full 2 stage polish?
