Pfft, I’ve been trying for days and cannot get my phone to connect to it at all.lol Ihave Android Auto but don’t know what to do with it. And what’s car play.lol. I can’t even get my phone to connect to my dash cams via wireless!!

I assume youíve downloaded Nissan connect app to your phone and registered on the Nissan you+ and connect websites? Any probs give us a shout... not an android person unfortunately but should just be plug the phone into the USB port in the car if anything like Apple carplay

Yeah I thought it has front and rear fitted cameras anyway and fish eye cameras under the wing mirrors so hooking up some kind of recorder to them would of been quite simple I expect.

I think the reasons for not installing as standard is to do with liability. There great when itís not your fault but it if it were your fault and itís standard equipment youíll be supplying all the evidence needed against yourself. If they are aftermarket you can always say they were off.

My colour coded splash guards (or mudflaps) arrived yesterday so I cleaned and sealed them with carpro dlux, and left them over night. So after a thorough clean of the car today, after that lovely African rain during the week leaving my car looking like an albino leopard here they are fitted. That Autoglym uhd wax causes some lovely water beading. I will get some pics next time.
