Cleaned car today but waxing tomorrow

Cause of the great weather weíre having I decided yesterday to give mine and my Dadís car a good clean before the winter , I knew I was out of wax so ordered Bilt Hamber from Amazon and hoped it would be delivered to the locker this morning but itís just been delivered (17.15).
I used Auto Finesse Tripple polish on the carís, but overnight itís going to rain so do I just dry the carís as normal or do I need something else to do before waxing?
Thanks

I would give them another wee wash or at least a rinse. Loads of crap could be deposited overnight, rain ain't exactly clean at times!

I echo what Mike says, always need to have a clean car before wax or sealant is applied, no matter how long since its last wash.

Just as above, give it a quick wash down just to make sure all clean and enjoy your new wax

This is when ONR is a good product to have around.

If you have a waterless wash like ONR, then itís good advise. If not, then perhaps a QD like Meguiars Quik Detailer or Last Touch will do as they donít have any protection.

Youíll need to do something before you wax the car as youíll have a nice layer of dust on it tomorrow that you donít want to wax on top of.

I'd give it a quick wipe over with a quick detailer like Megs Last Touch

Dont panic about washing again.

A QD will be fine

Another vote for rewashing, but only you know how "dusty/dirty" the cars get overnight, just look at them in the morning and you'll know yourself what to do!!
