Ok guys heres where i am at. I am after a lamp to find swirls, i have halogens but really need a dedicated torch. Ive tried to source a Brinkann in the UK but all stockists are out. Would love a 3m sun gun but at the moment think it might be overkill. So.. are there any options, and also i have been thinking would a domestic lamp (floor standing etc) with a gu10 type bulb be any good for spotting swirls.
ive just bought an ultrafire 502b 320 lumens with rechargeable batteries and charger off ebay £31 all in, superb torch and as good if not better than the p7.
I've got a P7 which is pretty good. I had an old style brinkmann for a while, very good but needed charging all the time. this new one appeals to me though as it uses normal batteries
as above, amazon are usually one of the cheapest places for it. other sites do it for more and it comes with a P3 i think it is, like a keyring size version if a P7
