Snow foam dilutions

Any idea the best dilutions for the citrus foam. Iím having issues where it donít seem to be doing anything which isnít right
Iím doing 1-200 in a 500ml bottle so 2.5-3 ml. Have thought about doing 50ml donít want residue left behind

Hi,
We recommend approximately 1 inch of W4 in a standard 1litre sized lance, filled with warm water. We are currently working through checking all bottle labels & instructions to ensure that they are customer friendly and easy to understand. If you thoroughly rinse and follow by washing the vehicle then there shouldn't be any residue left behind

Week

That is a very week dilution when I use FastFoam i use 100 ml of foam and 900ml of water that is a 1:9 dilution.

Is the 1:200 dilution recommended by the manufacturer if so check this is not the PIR ratio as if so you don't want that ratio in the bottle

1 inch is approximately 80-100ml of W4
This will produce the best results and a more 'foamy' outcome
Cleaning chemicals can still work/clean at lower ratios but the above is recommended.
The higher ratio shown is once mixed with the hose water and out of the lance

So about a 1:9 ratio, and just as I thought the other ration is the PIR (pannel impact ratio) the ration of chemical to water that leaves the lance and hits the panel.

So 50ml in 450 of water is 1-9 which would make more sense

Don’t think warm water makes any odds as it comes out ice cold due to cold water from the hose then via the lance so I’d be amazed if the temp once leaving the lance is different compared to using cold water in the bottle

I think that warm water in a lance bottle is more about helping the snow foam mix properly with the water in the bottle when you give it the initial shake - as you say, it will come out of the nozzle cold.

So at about 1 to 9 in the foam lance, with most lances being between around 7 to 10 to one, the panel impact ratio is somewhere 70 to 90 to 1? That is a fair dilution. The concentrate must be pretty strong stuff.
