I thought it was time for another update even though I have not managed a lot since my last post. Due to starting a new job 5 weeks ago I have had very little spare time and probably only managed about 8 hours on this project since then. Anyway, as you will see in the pictures below I re-assembled the bonnet, tailgate and doors, enough so they could be fitted to the car, and I also injected waxoyl in to these before fitting. There were no real issues here however the bonnet and doors will need some alignment to make them fit slightly more level, but for the moment they will do.
Today I moved the car out of the spray booth and in to my main shed where it will stay until completion - this is great as it frees up the booth for some painting jobs I have been waiting to do. While the car was outside I took a few pictures of it, firstly in the shade and then in sunlight. I'm very happy with the shine and depth and can't really believe I managed such a good off the gun finish! I guess I will have to deal with the dust nibs that are in the paint, but they can wait until a much later date.
Here are the pictures:

You should be proud of what you have achieved. The car will look stunning when finished.

Thanks Chaps. Hopefully I will get some more time one evening this week or next weekend to make a start on re-trimming the headlining, and finally getting the interior sorted after that. I also have to fix some cracks in the dashboard before I re-fit it as well!
