They are good fun!

Yes they aren't the fastest 2.0 on the road, and they would benefit from having a turbo or supercharger bolted on.

But irregardless of that, it is such a fantastic car.

In reply to the modification comments, It wont stay bog standard, but no lowering it to an inch of it's life, no big loud exhausts.

Performance mods and supporting mods, outside kept 'mostly' standard.

- Toyota GT86 -

We're doing a 2k+ two week road trip in ours with my mate in his Cayman.

The 86 is fabulous. Believe the US road test stats, not the uk ones.

Seats, driving position & controls are all 10/10.

My pal in the PDK Cayman commented on how quick the 86 is.

I'll be heading to the Alps in late June in my 86 and my girlfriends dad will be taking his Aston Martin vantage so I'll let you know how it compares haha.

I remember top gear an fifth gear really rating these cars when they came, your looks like it could made be cosmetically improved, good look with your new motor.

Well it's been over a year and I have finally started to modify her...

Full Scorpion exhaust, square number plate and a half de-badge.

Next on the list is different alloys, keeping my ear to the ground for the perfect set.
