Think a DA Polisher can't correct, here's some proof that they can

Car - Ford AU Falcon (aussie car from 2001)
repainted bonnet, roof and boot with 600 grit pigtails in it from the painter - I didnt remove them

One pad one machine.
combo of polishes not a compound
paint hardness - medium
time - five minutes

Whilst I love the rotary and use it for orange peel and ultra fine jewelling and glazing (non filling product) there is no doubt of the power of the best DA Polishers

Removed all the cloudiness/haze plus 95% of the defects too.

Nice, Mat! I am guessing Xpert 1000 and jeweling polish? What pad and machine did you use?
