The Meguiars APC is pretty good for badges etc and you can pick it up in Halfords, dilute it first though as it is pretty strong stuff and have seen it mark plastic and rubber trim if used neat.

Great result on that, but sounds like someone has a lot of washing to do

Looks like you've done a decent job for your first time

I've been doing this a while now and I still consider myself an amateur compared to some members, but overall we're all here for a reason

Lovely car monkfishh

I had one identical a few years ago, cracking little car, it took me back when I opened your thread and saw the first picture.

Hope you have as many enjoyable miles as I did.

Brilliant job there! The car has come up very well and looks like it's been cared for carefully! Maybe not the previous owner's forte by the sounds of it!

And don't feel like this is any lesser of a post than anything else. I prefer to see cars like this detailed and cared for than a big flash ferrari or the likes!

Keep it up

Nice car mate and good job with the detailing. Looks mint. I was torn between a Clio RS (same model) and my ST when I got it a few years ago. I went for the ST and it's a 56 so you're no the only one with an old banger compared to some of the motors on here!

Why don't you debadge it? No more awkward cleaning. Check fleabay first see if you can get new badges for cheap and just keep them aside if you fancy re-badging later .
