Ah, so it's a water cooled pump eh? Sounds better than the cheaper ones in the range, but how do know where the quality starts to change in the range?

My pervious Karchers have died relatively quickly. Have had cheap ones since then, my current one is a Bosch AQT 33-11. Not very high output in terms of pressure or litres per min flow but has served me well so far for the £50 I paid for it. Hoping to upgrade though eventually, but does the job on a low budget for now.

Bought a Karcher 411A over 20 years ago, used twice a week, very happy and would buy another. Never had anything go wrong.

Friend has a diesel powered pressure washer that he uses for his taxi fleet and the results are the same including the time taken to do each vehicle

I think some products just get made cheaper as time goes on. I can think of many brands that I've bought and then years down the line, I have come to replace with the equivalent new model and they just haven't been as good. One example being a Mcculloch petrol strimmer that I replaced 12 months ago; it is already needing to be stripped down and cleaned as it won't start now, even after changing the obvious things like the plug. The engine was still going strong on my last one after 12 years of abuse, and it always started well (someone lent it and broke the strimmer head in the end).
