B&Q have the K4 Full Control (without the extras) on offer at £148. Outlet is £130 delivered so for the extra £20 may be worth getting new.

It will do the job for personal use.

Only found out about the offer a couple of hours ago and after a bit of debating whether or not to buy one myself it turns out I'm getting it for my birthday. Winner!

I can't comment on Karcher compared to others but my K 2.14 which is probably 6 or more years old is still going strong. Only downside with it is the 3m hose which means dragging it around the car constantly.

Sticking to Karcher saves messing around with my foam/underbody lance attachments too. I did consider the Aldi Workzone one but would need another adaptor for lances. Could only find on fleabay so how reliable would it be I don't know. Same goes for the machine itself.

Basically I'm sticking with Karcher until I have reason not too.

I've not had much luck with the cheap Nilfisks and went through two in under a year. However, have been using a P150 version which has lasted the best part of 5 years with only the handle for the drum breaking, certainly not cheap but a great machine.
Also have a Karcher K4 which has been a good buy for the money (£130), been used a few times a week for the last 18 months with no issues!

I am kinda swayed towards the Karcher if I'm honest
