Only used the AG but it worked very well on my exhaust.

Got both at home now & both get regular use on my ED30 exhaust pipes. For me the Autosol just has it.

No never had a problem mate.I just use the original one on anything metal,steel,chrome etc.

Same here, it always does the trick on my stainless exhaust. And even on plastic chrome stuff like my grille.

Have both too and for some reason always reach for the autosol when the task requires metal polish...

I used to have AG now have autosol only because it was the cheaper in halfords but i prefer the AG i think it requires less work and has abit more bite to it

I've only tried the AG out of the two, and didn't think much of it tbh. If your getting it from Halfords, I'd recommend Megs NXT All Metal Polish! With or without a bit of wire wool, its works an absolute treat!

Edit;

Can be used for anything too! I did these with it a few weeks ago, and they were an absolute state before! the one on the far left was seriously tarnished after an incident with a bottle of Pussers Rum that it was left to soak in half the night!
