Wheel sealant on exhaust???

My Dad detailed his X4 a couple of weeks ago and has done 600 miles since then. The exhaust tips were spot on but now look like they have quite a bit of tar and other dirt on them. Would using a wheel sealant/wax - something like poorboys help next time they are cleaned? They were only washed and then polished with autosol last time?

Yup, I would!

In fact I coated my exhaust tips in DLUX ceramic coating to make cleaning them easier! Gets annoying when you have 4 :P

As above^^^^ but I use TAC Systems Magic plus on my quad pipes. Best way forward if you want to keep them protected and makes cleaning them a lot easier.

Wheel coating work perfectly on exhausts .
Also wheel sealants or waxes used SV Autobahn many times on my sister exhaust tips .

This is a great idea, I am going to apply some sealant to my quads. I polished them up with AutoSol but they get dirty very quickly!

I've heard of people using FK1000P on exhausts, especially since it's a high temp sealant.

I use the Britemax twins on mine, sealant works great and really lasts.
