When is the best time to D.A?

I had my car sprayed and to be honest the finish is amazing

If I am being picky there are a few specks of dust in the bonnet

I have not had it polished and have parked it in a dark place.

When is the best time to D.A it?

Or should I leave it?

If the dust is IN the paint then it sounds like you MAY need to wet sand it first to get them out - some pics would be good to see.

However I'd only polish the car when you need to. As the saying goes, "just because you can do something, does not necessarily mean that you should".

Thank you
I will try and take some photos soon, I doubt they will show anything

I won't d.a it

Thank you for the advice. My old car was detailed a bit too much and I think the paint suffered as a result

isn't it best to let the paint gas off for a while first before applying products or working on it.

honestly don't no but sure I've read about a month is advised.

Yes don't DA it if you don't need to.

And don't wax or seal it if its not been in an oven.
Give it a month before applying any protection.

If you need to polish a few areas you can do it by hand or machine, but just make sure you use a body shop safe polish, such as Menzerna

Thank you
No it was not sprayed in an oven
I will wait
I will take it out from storage in the spring and give it a polish and a wax
As long as you don't think that the paint can get too hard for a polish if it were needed

I wouldn't worry about it getting too hard.
