Ebay zoomable inspection light

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5000LM-Zooma...4AAOSwu4BVvw14

I spotted this on ebay and am considering it as a inspection flashlight after polishing. The zoom option looks like it would come in handy. Anyone bought this? Is it worth the buy or do you suggest something different. Keep the budget low please so no Scangrips.

Thanks

I have this exact torch and it works a treat

I originally bought this as a part of a bike light set from amazon (it came with a handle bar mount) but it gets much more use as a swirl spotter

Ive got Thorfire C8s(£15) and another Convoy S2+(£12) on the way. Convoy regarded as one of the best if not best light in its price range, plus you can choose colour temperature and power of the driver(max lumen output). Just in case yours bites the dust.

I ordered the one in the first post - the zoomable one but got this instead

Its a few Eur so Im not gonna complicate and send it back to China...At first glance it might even be a good swirl finding light.

Is also interested in Convoy S2 +, doubt which version is most suitable, what did you choose and why?

After reading few different reviews on budgetlightforum I have chosen T6-3B led colour tint with 7135x4 driver(7135x6 is also good). Main reason for the driver is that 7135x8(good review of this version ) on high will get very hot quickly and I prefer better running time - 470lm should be enough to check swirls.

Colour temperature of Solus bulb(3m Sun Gun) is 4700k, just in between Convoy 3B and 4C tints. Personally, I like cooler tints, so went for 3B.

Hope this helps.
